To our Valued Client and future clients,

Our business brings us into your homes. Right now home is where national and local health officials are saying we are the safest and where we should be. That alone means we need to be more mindful than ever of the commitment we have to you and your home. We want you to have peace of mind while we help you find that new home or sell your current one, at a very unique time in our market.

As you would expect, we have robust business continuity plans across our company and Core Services Partners (escrow, title, lending and insurance). All of us will need to exercise a degree of patience and understanding in everything we do, but our doors, whether physically or virtually, remain open and our talented agents and staff are ready to serve you.
Our health officials have stressed the importance of practicing social distancing and we are supporting that directive. The health and safety of you, our agents and our employees are paramount to all other things. Our sales agents and Core Service Partners are receiving up-to-date guidance from the CDC, the National Association of REALTORS and local health officials on the best way to conduct their business during this time. Real estate transactions absolutely can and are still taking place; they just may be handled a bit differently. We are ready to guide you.

Our goal is to work smarter in this new environment, to be responsible and deliver more value to our clients and customers. Mortgage rates have reached all-time lows and a window of opportunity is open for real estate.
We are proud to be part of the County Properties with a commitment to Trust, Integrity, Stability and Longevity. As we mark 36 years of conducting business in our area, we are reminded of the hardships, recessions, natural disasters and other challenges this great company has seen. In many of those moments, things were uncertain, but our sales agents, employees and partners persevered and continued to be the trusted real estate partner for our clients. This time will be no different.

Here are some things you may expect:
• We are embracing virtual showings and virtual Open Houses over platforms such as Zoom, FaceTime, Skype and Facebook. Contact us to participate.
• For in-person showings, we have provided a list of recommended practices to our agents to help keep you, your home and prospective buyers safe.
• Showings of our listings will come with new best practices, including guests sanitizing before entering; removing items such as hand towels and other items that are commonly touched; instructions for not touching any surfaces or using disposable gloves, for touching light switches, handles and knobs. Wearing masks.
• And while closing is always a time for celebrating, our agents may wait to celebrate in person with you after the actual date of close to keep all parties safe. This will allow our escrow closing partners to minimize the number of unnecessary people in their work environments.

As the situation further develops, we will continue to adhere to best practices all while keeping your best interest at heart. I encourage you to be mindful of your family’s health in the coming weeks.
