This was a good inspiration I received from a friend, while my aunt Selma Alpern at 87 years is she surrendering through  her final battle in Hospice mode at her sons (my cousin) Robert Alpern's home in New Jersey with stage 4 lung cancer. As her family and for anyone that you know who is fighting this battle we bless you with all our heart.Sometimes we rush through life so fast, we forget what's important. I just want to slow down for a minute.. I hope this speaks to you like it did me, it's called:THE DASHI read of a man who stood to speak at the funeral of a friend. He referred to the date on the tombstone from the beginning, until the end. He noted that first came the date of birth; the second date, he noted with tears. But he said that what matters most of all, was the dash between the years. That "dash" represented all the time spent alive on the face of the earth. Now only the loved ones left behind knew what that little line was worth. For it matters not how much we own, the cars, the house, the cash. What really matter s is how we live and love and how we spend our "dash"!So think about this long and hard, are there things you'd like to change? For you never know how much time is left, you could be mid range of the "dash". Should you be less quick to anger and show appreciation more?Should you love the people in your life, like you've never loved before? Should you treat others with more respect and more often wear a smile? Remember that your special "dash" may only last a little while.I think I'm going to go call an old friend. Feel free to share this with some of your friends.Enjoy your day and make the most of your "dash"!Message from Lisa Levine of County Properties Cancer is no longer the disease that you whisper about and know someone that knows someone that has it.
